Some highlights from the Reservoir meeting on September
26.
- Tree planting should begin in the next couple of weeks! How many planted
at this time will depend on the amount of good stock that the contractor can
obtain from the nursery right now. The rest of the trees will be planted in
the spring.
- It was decided that we will NOT have a fall clean-up day...we'll wait
until spring. However, we will be planning a walk-around for sometime in
early November to check out all the new trees that were planted.

A Visual Diary : The Arlington Reservoir Tree Replacement Project
is an exhibit of work being displayed through December by Res Committee
Member and Conservation Commissioner Cathy Garnett. We will gather for a
small reception to view her works, discuss the plantings and help to plan
for a larger display of this project, which will be included in the "Images
of Arlington" spring 2007 exhibit to celebrate Arlington's 200th
celebration. Cathy's project is supported in part by a grant from the
Arlington Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the
Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Plan for new tree
planting at the Res:
